Christopher Braiden, Supt. (ret)
Christopher Braiden is a former Superintendent of the Edmonton Police Service in Edmonton, Canada. Chris’s unique personal and career history has made him a sought after speaker and consultant on an international basis. Chris currently runs his own consulting firm, Chris Braiden Consulting, and has written a number of articles on policing.
Craig Uchida, Ph.D.
Craig Uchida is the President of Justice & Security Strategies, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in issues related to criminal justice, homeland security, children and youth violence, public health, and public policy. He currently oversees contracts and grants with cities, counties, criminal justice agencies, foundations, and foreign nations. Craig is the author a numerous journal articles and government publications. He is the co-author of two books on drug enforcement and police innovation. Dr. Uchida holds a Doctorate in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany and two masters’ degrees in American History and Criminal Justice.
Noble Wray, Chief
Noble Wray is currently the Chief of Police of Madison, Wisconsin. He joined Madison PD over twenty years ago and rose through the ranks where he was Assistant Chief before being appointed Chief. In his early patrol officer years Noble was assigned as the first neighborhood officer for the department. His work there won him department wide recognition. Chief Wray consults on a national basis in the areas of problem solving, community policing, and total quality management. He has also consulted for the Police Executive Research Forum, the Police Foundation, and the International Chiefs of Police Association.
Kevin Gilmartin, Ph.D.
Kevin Gilmartin retired from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Tucson, Arizona where he served as the supervisor of the Behavioral Science Unit and the Hostage Negotiation Team. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Arizona. Dr. Gilmartin is a consultant to numerous federal, state, and local police agencies in the United States and Canada where he often speaks on matters related to the identification of problem police officers and increasing accountability within departments. He is a guest instructor at many FBI courses. Dr Gilmartin is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Jack Enter, Ph.D.
Jack Enter began his career in criminal justice as a police officer in 1972 and after working a number of assignments his last posting was as an agency administrator. Jack obtained his Ph.D. in 1984 and has served as a professor and administrator in the university setting. He worked on the security component of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. Jack has lectured around the world including the New Scotland Yard and the Moscow Police Command School. He has published a book entitled: “Challenging the Law Enforcement Organization: Proactive Leadership Strategies.”
Howard Prince, General (ret)
Howard Prince is a graduate of West Point and retired after a twenty eight year career in the United States Army as a Brigadier General. General Prince is currently the Director of the Center for Ethical Leadership and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He has a vast teaching history beginning at West Point and then moving to the University of Richmond and finally at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
Ronald J. Guilmette, Chief
Ronald J. Guilmette is currently the Chief of Police at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA where he also serves as a member of the faculty. He is also an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Ron was the founding Director of the Massachusetts Police Leadership Institute where he served from 1999 to 2006. Chief Guilmette retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Massachusetts State Police after thirty one years of service where he served as the Commander of Field Services. He was also appointed by the State Police to be Interim Chief of Police in Lawrence, MA while the city searched for a new chief. Ron holds a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and has consulted on a national and international basis.
Steve Sampson, Ph.D.
Steve Sampson has been teaching conflict resolution and interpersonal skills for over thirty years. Steve holds a Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University and is a Master Trainer in Interpersonal skills. He has presented to over 300 different agencies. He has been a member of the faculty at Georgia State University. He is a licensed Psychologist and consults with over 25 police agencies for fitness for duty and post trauma debriefings. Dr. Sampson has also been involved in the corrections field where he has been a correctional administrator in Georgia and Massachusetts. He is the author on a book entitled “Social Intelligence Skills for Law Enforcement Managers” and has recently co-authored a book entitled “How to Be in a Personal Relationship”.
Gordon Graham, Esq.
Gordon Graham is a retied Captain from the California Highway Patrol and he actively lectures on public safety issues at all levels. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Western State University and is concurrently an attorney, consultant, lecturer and author focusing on organizational and operational risk management issues. He is co-president of Lexipol, a company designed to standardize law enforcement operations nationally.
Elaine Driscoll, Director
Elaine Driscoll is currently the Director of Communications for the Boston Police Department. Prior to her current position Elaine served as Vice President of Regan Communications Group, Inc. where she represented a number of high-profile companies such as New Balance Athletic Shoes, the New England Patriots, the World Trade Center, and Legal Sea Foods. She also served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for SBE Entertainment Group in Los Angeles.
Cindy Elrod, PhD.
Cindy Elrod is an alumnus of Georgia State University with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Community Psychology. Cindy spent twenty two years in corporate management where she specialized in team building, departmental reorganization efforts, group training and facilitation, and systems analysis. She has authored a number of articles on such topics as conflict negotiation and frontline leadership basics. Cindy currently consults on a number of leadership related topics and is co-author of a new book entitled “How to Be in a Personal Relationship.”
David Goldstein, Chief, PhD.
David Goldstein began his career as a patrol officer, spent the bulk of his law enforcement career with the New Hampshire State Police where he retired as a Captain, and is most currently the Chief of Police in Winthrop, MA. Chief Goldstein holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology, a Masters in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Human Services/Criminal Justice. David has been an instructor at the college level in addition to his police training with officers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
